Your first visit to our office

We begin each project by sitting down and helping our clients clearly define their vision of a great space.  We find that people already know the feel of the home they wish to build, and may only need a little guidance to help identify the things that are most important. As we ask you questions about your home, the picture starts to become more clear in your mind - and this provides a great basis for our work to begin.

With the ideas uncovered during our meeting, we’ll examine the opportunities of site, budget, and timeline, as well as the programmatic and stylistic aspects, and work to fuse them into an engaging whole. Doubtless we’ll go through several designs before settling into a course of action; but once we have a sound basis to proceed, the first - and most important - brick will have been laid.

When you return to our office we’ll present both the conceptual and concrete results of our initial work - at this point you’ll be free to choose the best direction to proceed. Your project may be an immediate necessity, or could require some time before it’s ready to come to fruition. Either way, at this point you’ll be in possession of a strong concept and a good basis for your design.
